Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Finance the number of primary medical certificate applications received by the disabled drivers medical board of appeal from persons in County Donegal that were granted and refused on appeal in each of the past five years to 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Disabled Drivers Medical Board of Appeal is a body under the aegis of my Department. The following table shows the number of appeal applications heard in the past five years and a breakdown of the number that were successful and unsuccessful, as provided to us by the DDMBoA. It is not possible to give a breakdown by county.
