243. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason a company (details supplied) was underbonded in view of the fact the company had a turnover of €20 million per annum and was bonded with the Commission for Aviation Regulation for €2.5 million. [45397/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe responsibility for administering the licensing and bonding of travel agents and tour operators in accordance with the Transport (Tour Operators and Travel Agents) Act, 1982 as amended, was transferred to the Commission for Aviation Regulation on 27 February, 2001. I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the Commission for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
