Deputy James Browne asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation the estimated cost of the provision of a defibrillator in each public building owned by her Department and agency under the aegis of her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAccommodation for my Department is provided by the Office of Public Works (OPW) in buildings which are either State owned or leased by OPW on our behalf. Therefore, my Department does not directly own any properties.

In relation to the Agencies of my Department, the cost of provision of defibrillators is a matter for each individual Agency, in which I have no role, but I am arranging for the information sought to be collated and reported to the Deputy.
