688. Deputy James Browne asked the Minister for Health the estimated cost of the provision of a defibrillator in each public building owned by his department and agency under the aegis of his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [45974/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department of Health does not own any buildings. However, in relation to Hawkins House, where the Department is currently situated, a defibrillator was purchased for €2,359.50 in July 2005. I have asked the HSE to reply directly to the Deputy regarding the cost of defibrillators within its organisation. Details for other bodies under the aegis of the Department are operational matters for the bodies concerned and the Deputy should contact the relevant Director/CEO/Registrar directly.
