Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to persons who have accessed vertebral body tethering via the cross-border health directive; the dates for this treatment; the name of the physician recommending it here; and the follow-up care provided by the HSE. As the Health Service Executive operates the EU Directive on Patients’ Rights in Cross Border Healthcare in Ireland it has been asked to examine this matter and to reply to the Deputy as soon as possible.
