475. Deputy Tom Neville asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if she will address a matter regarding the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [48039/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraJobPath is an employment activation service that supports people who are long-term unemployed, including those working part time and those at risk of becoming long-term unemployed, to secure and sustain full-time paid employment. In the case of part-time employed customers there will be a focus on options or opportunities to increase the level of employment either in their current role or looking at possibilities in other areas, which may also involve some training, but could provide a more sustainable income and a move away from jobseekers payments. My officials have made enquiries regarding the issues raised with the provider and I will respond directly to the Deputy shortly.
