667. Deputy Pat Breen asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a disability allowance payment will issue to a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [50516/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraFollowing an appeal to the independent Social Welfare Appeals Office, an Appeals Officer has decided that the person concerned is entitled to disability allowance with effect from 14 December 2016. The first payment will be made to her on 6 December 2017.
Arrears of payment due will issue as soon as possible once any necessary adjustment is calculated and applied in respect of any overlapping payments or in respect of outstanding overpayments (if applicable).
