426. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the amount of PSO subvention that has been paid to Bus Éireann, Irish Rail, Dublin Bus, and Luas since 2011, by year and company. [51011/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraSince 2010 however there is no PSO subvention paid directly by my Department to transport operators. The award and subvention of PSO contracts now falls under the independent statutory remit of the National Transport Authority (NTA), which has direct responsibility for this area and I have therefore forwarded the Deputy's Question to the NTA for direct reply.
