533. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of staff recruited on an annual basis since the Brexit referendum in June 2016, between new staff hires and replacement staff, in State agencies and bodies under his aegis (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department will be providing support to the State Agencies under its aegis in the context of the challenges arising due to Brexit.

All information relating to the hiring of additional staff are operational matters for the State Bodies concerned and I have asked my officials to forward the Deputy's question to the State Bodies in question for direct reply.
