249. Deputy Timmy Dooley asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the status of the proposed flood defence works at Quilty, County Clare (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1209/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised that the Office of Public Works (OPW) has completed a review of the Coastal Erosion and Flood Risk Management Study of Mal Bay which includes the area of Quilty as submitted by Clare County Council. The OPW has recently written to the Council with its comments on the study and requesting some further information.
