Deputy Alan Farrell asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of persons arrested by An Garda Síochána on an annual basis over the past five years in tabular form, with particular reference to those detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 and section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
