Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport further to Parliamentary Question No. 538 of 27 March 2018, the legal basis upon which the DAA is permitted to withhold public information from residents, namely, the longitudinal data which have long been outstanding that are being withheld on the basis of pending litigation. Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy is aware, the daa has statutory responsibility to manage, operate and develop Dublin Airport, including the North Runway project.
As previously stated, the legal proceedings in question are not, in fact, completed. It would therefore be inappropriate for me to comment further on issues to which these proceedings relate. I will be happy to arrange for the provision of any information that is appropriate to release when the litigation is concluded.
