230. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the number of positions on the board in respect of the board of agencies and commercial State companies under her Department’s aegis in tabular form; the quorum required for a board meeting; the number of ministerial appointee vacancies on the board to date; the length of time the ministerial appointee vacancy has been present for each vacancy; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am responsible for appointment of members to the boards of the Adoption Authority of Ireland, the Child and Family Agency (Tusla), Gaisce and the Board of Management of the Oberstown Children Detention Campus. The below table display's the maximum number of positions on each board, the quorum for board meetings, Ministerial appointed vacancies on each board and the date each vacancy occurred.
