233. Deputy John Curran asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the reason a claim by a person (details supplied) lodged with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal in 2012 has not been resolved; and when the case will be resolved. [27390/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal administers the Scheme of Compensation for Personal Injuries Criminally Inflicted. Under the terms of the Scheme, the Tribunal is entirely independent in the matter of individual decisions on applications for compensation under the Scheme. The Deputy will appreciate that in these circumstances I cannot comment on individual cases.
