549. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of an application for an invalidity pension by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27703/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe gentleman referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from the 07 December 2017. Payment, including arrears due from 07 December 2017 to 27 June 2018, will issue to his nominated bank account on the 28 June 2018. The gentleman in question was notified of this decision on the 21 June 2018.
The gentleman's application for an increase in respect of a qualified adult and a qualified child is being processed.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
