Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if personnel in her Department have been removed from their position, have been transferred to another role or had their employment terminated in the past four years due to breaches of departmental standards or professional misconduct or incompetence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by officials in my Department that as of 26 June, 2018 one person has had their employment terminated from the Department in the last four years. The termination was carried out in line with all guidelines as set out by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
