290. Deputy Colm Brophy asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if his Department has identified laws that are dependent on or in place as a consequence of Article 41.2 of the Constitution; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30104/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs part of the examination of options for the amendment of Article 41.2 of the Constitution, my Department asked other Departments to check whether or not legislation exists under their responsibility which could be impacted by any change to Article 41.2 and which would have to be amended as a consequence of such a change. Justice and Equality legislation was also examined in this regard. No legislation requiring amendment has been identified.
