1478. Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin asked the Minister for Health if panic buttons and personal alarms will be made available to persons under 65 years of age who are vulnerable and require 24-7 care. [33091/18]

I have no role or function in relation to this matter. I understand that Pobal, funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development, provides personal alarms for people over 65 years and older through the Seniors Alert Scheme. No such scheme is in operation for the under 65's.
