1637. Deputy Peter Burke asked the Minister for Health the reason no appeals regarding decisions made in relation to granting primary medical certificates for a person (details supplied) will be heard until a date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [33869/18]

Appeals of decisions to refuse Primary Medical Certificates are dealt with by the Disabled Drivers Medical Board of Appeal, which comes under the remit of the Department of Finance.  The Department of Health has no role in relation to these appeals.
