Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Finance the monetary amount of help-to-buy grants granted and-or paid to persons on a monthly basis since the scheme was launched to 1 July 2018; the number of grants issued for qualifying properties priced between ranges (details supplied) in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraIt is assumed the Deputy is seeking the number of claims approved for the Help to Buy (HTB) tax refund scheme since its inception in July 2016.
I am advised by Revenue that the monthly monetary amounts of approved claims are set out in the following table.
