2112. Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if the reintroduction of an incineration levy has been considered; the process for same; the rate at which the levy will be set; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35078/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe potential introduction of economic instruments designed to improve environmental behaviour, including an incineration levy and a number of other options, are being considered in the context of a review of the Environment Fund. I understand that the initial review is very close to finalisation and will be submitted to me shortly.
