Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Finance when the LPT review will be completed; the engagement that has taken place with the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government, local authorities and the Revenue Commissioners regarding the design of the new LPT regime; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is currently finalising the review of the LPT in conjunction with the Departments of Public Expenditure and Reform, Housing Planning and Local Government, the Taoiseach and the Revenue Commissioners.
The review has included a consultation process to enable all interested parties and individuals including local authorities to submit their views on the future of the LPT.
