652. Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the estimated full year cost of halving all public transport fares; the estimated cost of providing free public transport for all in full-time education; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [37162/18]

The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for public transport fares and I have therefore forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
