676. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the estimated cost of upgrading signalling centres on the rail network; his plans to replace signalling centres in 2018 or 2019; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [37562/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe National Development Plan identifies a number of key investment priorities for the inter-urban rail network. These include, for example, the ongoing programme of investment to protect the quality and level of past investments through maintenance and renewal activities including signalling and such projects including the National Train Control Centre, the City Centre Resignalling Project and roll-out of on-board systems, etc.
