764. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a social welfare payment will be made in the case of a person (details supplied); if the payment can be made with some urgency; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [37742/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned has been in receipt of a jobseeker's transition payment since April 2012. During the course of a recent review of entitlement, an officer of the Department made several attempts to meet with her at her home but she was not present on these occasions. Her jobseeker's transition payment was suspended pending confirmation of her residency. The person concerned attended the Newbridge Intreo Centre on 21/9/18 and clarified her present circumstances. Her jobseeker's transition payment has now been fully restored.
