Deputy Bríd Smith asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to a serious incident of self-harm that occurred in Clontarf Hospital on 9 May 2017; and if his attention has been further drawn to the fact that staff had prior to the event voiced their concern for the well-being of the person and the lack of training and experienced staff in dealing with patients with psychiatric illnesses.
