149. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if Ireland will implement a new sector specific income stabilisation tool as provided under EU regulation 2017/2393. [41664/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraIreland's Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020 does not include a provision for an income stabilisation tool. As all of the available funding has been committed, it is not currently envisaged that one will be implemented under this RDP. However it is an option which will be considered in the context of the new CAP post 2020.
