Deputy Micheál Martin asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the policy on the need for note taking when Ministers and-or Ministers of State meet business and other leaders; the way in which this policy is outlined; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe requirement for note taking is dependent on the nature, subject and brevity or otherwise of any of my meetings. Where a formal meeting on a specific issue is convened, it is the normal practice for a note of the principal issues raised to be taken and any action points arising from the meeting. This practice is understood and applied by my Department.
