624. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the progress to date in the determination of an application for a disability allowance in the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [48156/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned has been awarded disability allowance with effect from 11 July 2018. The first payment will be made by his chosen payment method on 05 December 2018.
Arrears of payment due will issue as soon as possible once any necessary adjustment is calculated and applied in respect of any overlapping payments (if applicable).
