137. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Finance the amount of VAT collected from forms of gambling that are subject to VAT in 2016, 2017 and to date in 2018; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [50138/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that traders are not required to separately identify the yield generated from a particular activity or product type on their VAT return. Therefore, it is not possible to provide an estimate of the VAT collected from forms of gambling subject to VAT.
