207. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Finance the amount of stamp duty collected in 2018 from non-residential property; the amount expected to be collected for 2019; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1109/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by Revenue that the provisional receipts of Stamp Duty associated with property in 2018 amounted to €661 million. It is estimated that €490 million of these receipts relate to non-residential property. While a formal forecast for Stamp Duty on non-residential property for 2019 is not prepared, Revenue's tentative estimate on a full-year basis is €530 million.
