288. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a disability allowance payment will issue to a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3652/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned submitted an application for disability allowance (DA) on 6 June 2018. Their application was refused on habitual residency grounds as he was not found to be habitually resident in the state. The person concerned was notified in writing of this decision on 31 August 2018.
I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
