1335. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of an application for an invalidity pension by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14191/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe gentleman referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 27 December 2018. Payment will issue to his nominated bank account on 28 March 2019. Any arrears due from 27 December 2018 to 27 March 2019 (less any overlapping social welfare payment) will issue as soon as possible. The gentleman in question was notified of this decision on 12 March 2019.
