253. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a GLAS payment will issue to a person (details supplied); the reason for the delay in issuing same to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15683/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person named was approved into GLAS 1 with a contract commencement date of 1 October 2015 and has received payments in respect of scheme years 2015, 2016 and 2017.
During prepayment validations for the 2018 advance payment, an issue presented which required further checking by Department staff. The Department has contacted the applicant's advisor in respect of the issue and has advised on what action is required to resolved the issue. Once all validations are passed, the payment will be processed. GLAS payments continue to issue weekly.
