Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the recent report of the UN special rapporteur (details supplied) on the right to adequate housing; his views on same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A response to this communication is currently being prepared in my Department in coordination with the Department of Finance and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
