Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Health the HSE nursing and care homes that have vacant beds; the numbers of vacant beds in each unit; the length of time they have been vacant; the reason for the vacancies; the cost of same to the health service; the number waiting for admission to local or community HSE nursing and care homes; the length of time they have been on waiting lists; and the number occupying hospital beds while waiting.
