542. Deputy John Brassil asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the expected commencement and completion date for traffic management measures by Transport Infrastructure Ireland at Derryquay, Derrymore East, County Kerry. [24872/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the National Roads Programme. The Roads Acts 1993-2015 prescribes the roles and responsibilities of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), in conjunction with the local authorities concerned, for the delivery of the National Roads Programme. Among these roles and functions, TII and local authorities are responsible for the operation and management of individual national roads.
