Deputy Barry Cowen asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the capital projects completed since 2010; the final agreed tender price for each project; the actual cost of each project; if the actual cost exceeded the tender price; the reason therefore in each case in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI understand the Deputy is seeking information on projects with a spend of €5 million or above since 2010.
The capital allocation for my Department is primarily used to deliver IT modernisation and carry out refurbishments on the Department’s buildings. There have been no individual capital projects with a spend of €5 million or above since 2010.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
