Amharc ar fhreagraFarm Assist is a means tested income support payment for farmers. A person's entitlement to farm assist is reviewed on an ongoing basis, as is the case for all schemes, to ensure that the customer continues to satisfy the conditions of the scheme. A person's means may also be reviewed from time to time to ensure that the customer is in receipt of the correct payment. Claims may be reviewed retrospectively over a number of years depending on the time period relevant to the claim review.
A customer may also request a review of their means in the light of changed circumstances at any time.
I trust that this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
