605. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of an application by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [43098/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThis domiciliary care allowance application has been finalised. The person concerned was notified in a letter dated 4th September 2019 that domiciliary care allowance has been awarded from the 1st January 2019. This includes a back-dating payment for the maximum six months allowable in respect of the months January 2019 to June 2019. Arrears due for this period issued with the September 2019 payment on the 19th September 2019.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
