Deputy Peter Burke asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to review the cost of parking at train and bus stations with a view to lower rates for those who are using public transport to commute; if he will instruct Irish Rail and Bus Éireann to address this; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is an operational matter for Iarnród Éireann and Bus Éireann and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the companies for direct reply.
