Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Health if an independent health and social care professions advisory unit will be established in his Department for the introduction of minimum safe staffing levels for health and social care professional services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe process for the establishment of a health and social care advisory function and the role it will undertake is under consideration at the present time, in the context of overall staffing priorities within the Department of Health. The Department values the significant contribution of all health and social care professionals and wishes to ensure this contribution is fully utilised in the interests of the wellbeing of the public.
