Deputy Robert Troy asked the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence if changes will be made to the regulations which would allow retiring Defence Forces personnel to take up roles within other State organisations which they have suitable qualifications for, for example, a trained military paramedic cannot take up a similar role within the HSE.
