Amharc ar fhreagraA Review of the Role and Remuneration of Local Authority Elected Members, led by Ms Sara Moorhead SC, was initiated by the Minister of State for Local Government and Electoral Reform, in conjunction with the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in June 2018. Ms Moorhead's final report was formally submitted to me for my consideration on 22 May 2020.
I am considering the Report, including in terms of submission to the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform for consideration in the context of public sector pay, and thereafter submission to Government.
