197. Deputy Frankie Feighan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if an application by a school (details supplied) for emergency works funding to build additional hygiene facilities for children at the school in view of the new requirements with regard to Covid-19 will be reconsidered; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that an appeal against the refusal of an Emergency Works Scheme application was received by my Department and is currently being reviewed by the Emergency Works Team.

The school will be contacted directly once a decision has been made in that respect.
