363. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if he or his officials have engaged with the Dublin Airport Authority and-or the Health and Safety Authority in respect of an incident (details supplied) that occurred in a Dublin Airport detention room in November 2015; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy will appreciate that it is not possible for me to respond in this forum in relation to individual cases.

That said, in light of the issues raised by the Deputy, I have sought a report from both An Garda Síochána and the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission.  I will write directly to the Deputy when I receive further information on this matter.
