823. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if jobseekers allowance will be made payable to a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12979/20]
Amharc ar fhreagraAccording to the records of my Department, the person concerned submitted an application for a jobseeker’s allowance payment with effect from 30/3/2020. This application was awarded and the first payment was made available in the person’s nominated bank account on 18/6/2020. This payment totalled included all arrears due for the period 30/3/2020-23/6/2020.
I trust this clarifies the matter.
