841. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Health the extent to which he envisages the availability of adequate resources to meet the full requirements of his Department arising from normal running costs in addition to the Covid-19 crisis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The level of funding available for my Department is being considered as part of the national Estimates and budgetary process for 2021 which is currently underway.

These discussions are still progressing and until they are concluded it would not be appropriate for me to anticipate the outcome.
