180. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Social Protection the status of a disability allowance application by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26092/20]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned has been awarded disability allowance with effect from 29 April 2020. He was notified in writing of this decision on 6 July 2020.
The first payment was made by his chosen payment method on 15 July 2020. Arrears of payment due were calculated and issued to the person concerned on 15 July 2020.
I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
