An Chomhairle um Oideachas Gaeltachta agus Gaelscolaíochta (COGG) which was established under the provisions of Article 31 of the Education Act of 1998 operates an established structure to cater for the educational needs of Gaeltacht schools and of Gaelscoileanna. The provision of teaching and learning resources is one of its main areas of work and a resource development funding scheme is advertised in spring each year.
